Texting friends and family is about to become all that little bit easier. You will soon be able to simply nod your head to create text messages. This new way of texting has been created by Audioclouds. Scottish scientists say it could prevent people from dangerously trying to text whilst driving. The headphones will create 'audio windows' where streams of speech, data or music appear to come from different directions. The user will simply nod at whatever sound they want to listen to and the movement will be picked up by small sensors.
This new way of texting was created by the Computer Science area of Glasgow University. It will allow text messages to be created with basic hand or head gestures.
Big mobile phone companies like Nokia, Samsung, and Motorola, have show interest in the creation.
